WELIN, Dolores

Yuma Sun, Yuma, Arizona - Published in The Yuma Sun from June 21 to June 22, 2013 - Dolores Welin, 80, of Spokane, Washington was born December 6, 1932, and passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 18, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tage Welin; parents, Bud and Freda Schonfeld and sister, Pat Wilcox. Dolores and Tage enjoyed wintering in Yuma, Arizona from 1989 to 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Jason) VanDeberg and grandsons Jonathan and Justin of Yuma, Arizona; son, Kevin (Kristin) and grandddaughters Madeline and Jessica of Olympia, Washington. Her infectious smile will be missed by all who knew her. We are blessed knowing that she is now reunited with her husband, having a cocktail and watching over her loved ones.
