Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Roxie Allred Dowdle June 26, 1921 - June 18, 2013 Roxie Dowdle, age 91, of Thatcher, entered into eternal life quietly Tuesday evening, June 18, 2013, at her residence. Roxie is survived by: her five daughters; Candace Nielsen (Boyd), of Lehi, Utah; Roxann Larsen (Ron), of Queen Creek; Kim Pace (Jerry), of Corbin, Kentucky; Patricia Allen (Steve), of Thatcher; Denise Mullenaux (Arthur), of Mesa; her son-in-law Steve Schneider, of Snowflake; her brother-in-law, Glenn Dowdle; thirty-six grandchildren; and one hundred thirteen great-grandchildren. Roxie was preceded in death by: her husband of 69 years, Earl; a daughter, LaSchelle; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside funeral services for Roxie will be conducted Friday evening, June 21, 2013, at 6:00 p.m., at the Thatcher Cemetery by Bishop Matt Clifford of the Thatcher Seventh Ward. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m., at the Vining Funeral Home.
