Vining Funeral Home, Safford, Arizona Irene Paredez December 20, 1946 - June 13, 2013 Memorial Services for Irene Arrellin Paredez, age 66, of Pima, will be conducted Saturday, June 22, 2013, at 11:30 a.m., at the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall in Safford by Norm Nichols. Irene passed away peacefully Thursday afternoon, June 13, 2013, at the University Medical Center in Tucson with her loving husband, Arthur, by her side. Irene was born December 20, 1946, in Thatcher, Arizona, to Jose and Genoveva Maldonado Arrellin. She met and later married Arthur S. Paredez on July 16, 1965. To this union were born three children. Irene loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by everyone she met and will be missed by all. Irene is survived by: her loving husband of 47 years, Arthur; her son, Arthur “Artie” Paredez; her two daughters, Christine Quintanilla and Jessica Miranda (Juan); her five grandchildren, Christine Paredez, Monic Paredez, Talissah Paredez, Juan Miranda and Casianna Miranda; her brothers and sisters, Jonny Arrellin (Elaine), Josie Edwards (Gary), Ramie Arrellin (Cheryl), Orlie Arrellin, Danny Arrellin and Rosie Gardner. Irene was preceded in death by: her parents, Jose and Genoveva Arrellin; her three brothers, Ricky Arrellin, Benny Arrellin and Reynaldo Arrellin. Irene’s family cordially invites family and friends to continue sharing memories, following the services, at a luncheon at the American Legion in Solomon.
