EYRICH, Hazel Karen


Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Hazel Karen Eyrich (December 11, 1948 - June 14, 2013) Hazel Karen Eyrich of Sedona passed away Friday, June 14, 2013. She was born in Flagstaff on December 11, 1948, to Ed and Jean Eyrich. Hazel attended the Arizona State College Elementary School, Flagstaff Junior High School, and graduated in 1966 from Flagstaff High School. After attending and graduating from Northern Arizona University, she worked for many years for the Coconino County Assessors Office and then for Minnesota Title Company prior to moving to Northern California, where she continued working in the same field. Upon returning to Arizona she chose to live in Sedona where her father was living and remained there after his death. She is survived by brothers John, Flagstaff, Carl (Valda) of Lake Montezuma, and Norviel (Kris) of Mineral Virginia, and sisters Dorothy (John) Miller of Williams, and Helen Tackitt of Flagstaff and sister-in-law Kay (George) Eyrich of Flagstaff. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews, as well many, many friends. She was proceeded in death by her parents Ed and Jean Eyrich, brothers Frank and George Eyrich and sister Bonnie Greer. Hazel was very loyal and very family-oriented. She was an enthusiastic scrap-booker and pet owner and was always very generous to friends and family. She will be missed by all. At Hazel’s request, services will be for family only.
