Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Torivia Lopez Romero (April 16, 1935 - June 23, 2013) Torivia Lopez Romero, 83, of Holbrook passed away June 23rd, 2013. She was born in Winslow, Arizona to Francisco and Catalina Lopez on April 16, 1935. Torivia and her late husband, Tony, owned Tony’s Café in Holbrook. She was hard working. Torivia enjoyed dancing. She liked to have her hair and nails done, and liked going to the casino and playing Bingo at the service center. She loved gifts and flowers. Torivia liked Mexican music and preferred to speak and watch TV in Spanish. Torivia loved her family. She and her family had lots of good times together, and they are grateful for the time spent together travelling and eating out. Torivia is survived by her daughter Diana Romero, her sons Manuel Romero, Raymond Romero, John Romero, Joseph Romero and Anthony Romero, and numerous grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony, in 1992. Rosary will take place Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 am, followed by a memorial mass at 11:00 am, both at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona, Holbrook, AZ.
