ALTAHA, Milton Herbert

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Milton Herbert Altaha (January 2, 1991 - June 22, 2013) Milton H. Altaha 22, of Rainbow City, died June 22, 2013 in Diamond Creek, Az. Milton attended Whiteriver Headstart, Whiteriver Elementary School and Canyon Day Jr. High, and Alchesay High School, and did his last year at Chemawa Indian School in Oregon. Milton enjoyed the outdoors. His hobbies were fishing, listening to music, recording music and movies, and kicking back with his brother, friends and relatives. Milton took pride in his traditional beliefs. He loved to dance and also sing with his brother/cousin- Yogi’s “Pine Tree Clan Group”. He also went to sweats on Sundays to pray for family and friends, which were the most important people in his life. Milton had a big heart for everybody and was a very humble person. Milton leaves behind his parents Herbie and Malinda Altaha; sisters Chadeen and Dana; brother Wacey; nephew Dakota Altaha; Godparents Danny and Rita Taylor; and many relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by aunts Sherry Goklish and Miranda Cosay; Uncles Jerrold and Sonny Cosay; grandparents Terry and Andre Cosay; and cousin Timothy Cosay. He will be dearly missed and will live on in our hearts.
