COPELAND, Dennis Lee

Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Dennis Lee Copeland (September 1, 1946 - June 22, 2013) Dennis Lee Copeland, 66, Died June 22, 2013 at his home in Taylor surrounded by family after he had lost the battle with cancer. Dennis was born to William and Betty Copeland in September 1946 in Springfield, IL. The Copeland’s moved from Illinois to Tucson Arizona in the early 1950’s. Dennis spent time in the Army serving in Germany. He married Jeanette Wyers in June of 1968, then spent time in the Safford and Globe areas where he managed A.J. Bayless stores then Dennis moved his family to the Taylor area in 1979, he loved the area and retired from Catalysts Paper Mill in 2011. Dennis liked golfing, camping and spending time with his grandchildren. Dennis is survived by his wife Jeanette of Taylor, Daughter Kim (Clifford) of Taylor, granddaughter Kasey (Nathan) Little, Grandson Trevon Maxwell, Great granddaughter Jordin Little, Father William Copeland, Sister Vicky (Clint) Churchill, Niece Christine Churchill, Brother John Copeland and extended famiy members. He was preceded in death by his Mother Betty Copeland. The Family would like to acknowledge Summit Health Care Cancer Center, and Hospice Compassus for their care and kindness. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM, Friday, June 28, 2013 at Silver Creek Mortuary, 745 Papermill Rd. in Taylor and a Graveside Service at 11:00 AM on June 29, 2013 at Taylor Cemetery.
