The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/28/2013 Derek Jason Hall, 32, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at his home in Phoenix. He was born May 13, 1981, in Springerville, the son of John Chellis Hall and Cheryl Slade Enders. Derek was a landscaping and irrigation engineer for BDG Maintenance. He touched so many lives with his million dollar smile and heart to match. He loved to laugh and enjoyed a prank. He loved working in the yard, working on vehicles, and had a passion for airplanes. Heaven welcomed back a wonderful son when Derek left us. He will be greatly missed. Derek is survived by his parents; brothers: Clinton Hall, Britt Hall, Trevor Hall and Bryan Hall; stepbrothers: Joshua Enders, Jared Enders and Jeremy Enders; sister Leslie Hall; stepsister Heather Nelch; and grandmother Mary Slade. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Clinton Slade, Milford Hall and Genevieve Hall. A visitation will be held from 7-9 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Burnham Mortuary of Eagar. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Springerville Building in Springerville.
