Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Friday, June 28, 2013 - A Funeral Mass for Eleanor Katherine Wrona, of Mountain Home, Ark., took place June 20 at St. Andre the Apostle Catholic Church in Calumet City, Ill. Eleanor passed away June 14, 2013 in Mountain Home, Ark., at the age of 95. She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Calumet City, Ill., the daughter of Matthew and Josephine Sobczak. She married Edward Wrona Sept. 3, 1939 at Calumet City, and was a homemaker. Eleanor lived in Mountain Home since 2010, moving from Lake Havasu City. She was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Eleanor is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Drake, of Mountain Home, and Elaine Drake, of Lake Havasu City; four grandchildren, Lisa Drake, Sherrie Drake, Robert (Jennifer) Drake, and Tracey (Michael) Tennyson; seven great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death. Burial was in the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, Ill. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
