THEOPHILUS, Owen Scott


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, June 10, 2007 Owen Scott Theophilus, age 28, of Paulden, Arizona, passed away June 6, 2007. Owen was born January 14, 1979, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, to Richard and Marjorie Theopilus. Owen was a caring husband, an amazing father, a loving son, grandson and nephew who was spontaneous, never a stranger to anyone, a man who loved God and had a zest for life. He was a landscape contractor, a reserve EMT for LifeLine Ambulance, a certified firefighter and a youth leader in Paulden, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Richard Theopilus Sr. and Charles R. Scott; and Uncle Harold Klinger. Owen is survived by his wife Faith Elizabeth Theopilus; son John Owen Theopilus, age 5; daughter Lindy May Theopilus, age 3; parents Richard and Marjorie Theopilus; brother Adam Scott Theopilus; sister Megan Ann Theopilus; grandparents Charlisse Scott and Betty Theopilus; and Aunt Madge Klinger. A celebration of life service will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at "Owen's Trail" behind the 1st Pentacostal Church of Living Water, 24850 Naples, Paulden, Arizona. A second service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Lakeview Community Church, 1699 W Acoma Blvd., Lake Havasu, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the Owen Scott Theopilus memorial fund has been set up for the family at Chase Bank. "Owen's son, John, wants everyone to know that his daddy is walking with Jesus."
