Former Yuma native Sonny Current answered God's call and joined his Lord while his loved ones never left his side. 

A gentle man who was a loving, husband to Lorraine, for 55 years, a loving father to Denise (Dan) Criste, Debbie (Alan) Guiliani, David (Joni) Current and Daryl (Rhonda) Current; grandfather to Kyle, Sunnie, Taylor, Kalena and great-grandfather to Valese. He was also a loving brother to his sisters, Mary Lou Van and Patricia Lloyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Ida Current and sister Martha Roberts.
