Juan Ruiz Villanueva, 65, died June 25, 2013, at his Yuma home.

Born June 6, 1948, in Carrizo Springs, Texas, he was retired from the U.S. Army.

Graveside services will be 9 a.m. Friday at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, with military honors.

Desert Valley Mortuary and Crematory is handling local arrangements, including cremation.
