GIFFIN, Richard Leroy

Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, June 30, 2013 - Richard Leroy Giffin passed away June 25, 2013 in Lake Havasu City. Richard was born Jan. 29, 1936, in Endicott, N.Y., to Roberts S. Giffin and Lydia. V. Giffin (Clarke). Richard is one of nine children, five brothers and three sisters. He was married to the love of his life, Elaine Giffin (Beasley), for 55 years. He worked at Unical for 30-plus years, living in Brea, Calif., where he raised his three children. Richard was a proud veteran in the 82nd Airborne and also a member of the American Legion. He has lived in Lake Havasu City for 21 years. Richard is survived by his loving family, his wife, Elaine Giffin; daughter, Yvonne Giffin (Hall); sons, Richard Giffin and Anthony Giffin; brother, Joseph Giffin; sister, Geraldine Talkington; and six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
