Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Charlotte Cox, 74, passed away at her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ. with her family by her side on Saturday, May 05, 2007. She was born on April 07, 1933 in Pemberton, New Jersey to Harry and Mary Williams. Charlotte and her late husband, Norman B. Cox, and their two daughters moved to Lake Havasu City in 1977, coming from New Jersey. She retired from the Lake Havasu Unified School District as a custodian in 1990. Charlotte was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed playing the slots, traveling, enertaining friends and spending time with her family. She fought a long and courageous battle against multiple myeloma cancer and she will be deeply missed. Her family said, "to know her was to love her and she was a truly remarkable woman." Charlotte is survived by her two daughters, Heather (Stacy) Kohon of Chicago, Illinois and Holly (Chet) Upshaw of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; grandchildren, Zackery Kohon, Zane Kohon, CJ Upshaw and Charlotte Upshaw. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Norman B. Cox. No services will be held, per her request. Donations can be made in Charlotte's name to Hospice of Havasu, PO Box 597, LHC. AZ. 86405.
