Lake Havasu Mortuary and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Emma Gene Cowan, 80, passed away on Friday, December 01, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. She was born on September 16, 1926 in Kansas City, Kansas to George and Elenor Mirschel. Emma and her husband of 49 years, Dewey, moved to Lake Havasu City 17 years ago, coming from Cucamonga, California. Emma and Dewey were married on April 06, 1957 in Kansas City, Kansas. Prior to Emma and Dewey being married she worked in the accounting department for the Pinkerton Detective agency. After she and Dewey were married she became a mother and homemaker and was involved in her sons High School band program and was a "Band Boster". After retirement, Emma spent most of her time going to Laughlin to play Bingo and the Slots. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Emma is survived by her loving husband, Dewey M. Cowan Sr. of Lake Havasu City, AZ.; son, Dewey M.Cowan Jr.; Donald G. Cowan and Charles L. Cowan; granddaughters, Nicole, Deborah and Bethany; grandsons, David Cowan and Nathanael Cowan. Interment will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, December 06, 2006. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.lakehavasumortuary.com.
