Diana Jane Johnston died June 21, 2013, at the Hospice of the Valley in Chandler. She was born Sept. 23, 1947, in Pueblo, Colo.
Diana will be remembered by those who knew her as a kind and positive person who always extended her love to family and friends. Everyone who knew her will remember her catch phrase, “What a beautiful day,” regardless of the weather.
She greatly enjoyed her kitties and watching the birds. Her greatest passions in life were her family and friends, working as activities director at the Show Low Senior Center and her involvement in the White Mountain Meals on Wheels program.
Diana is survived by her two sons, Charles (Sue) Fisher and John Fisher of Show Low; sister Ronna Johnston of Windsor, Colo.; granddaughter Connie Fisher of Phoenix; and father Ward Johnston of Pueblo, Colo.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 5, at the Show Low Senior Center, 301 E. McNeil. Join others for this celebration and share your memories of Diana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the White Mountain Meals on Wheels program.
