Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City,AZ - Posted: Thursday, July 4, 2013 >> Norman Russell Engen << >> Sept. 2, 1936 — June 29, 2013 << Norman Russell Engen went home to be with the Lord, June 29, at UAMC in Tucson at the age of 76. He was born in Glendale, Calif. and resided in Eagle Rock and La Crescenta, Calif. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Pat for 56 years. He is survived by his loving family, his wife, Pat (Adams) Engen; daughter, Judy (Engen) Moravitz and son in-law, Gary Moravitz, of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; son, Mark Engen and daughter in-law, Cheryl Engen, of Lake Havasu City; grandchildren, Erik (Cynthia) Jackson, of Saginaw, Texas, Scott (Cheryl) Jackson, of Chino Hills, Calif., Jeff Engen, of Lake Havasu City, Mike Engen, of Las Vegas, Nev., Lisa (Engen) and Ben Irwin, of Lake Havasu City and three great-grandchildren. Norm worked in the Hollywood entertainment industry, where he was a member of Local #33, for 43 years. He retired in 1998 and moved to Lake Havasu City, where he resided for 15 years. He was a Master Mason in Crescenta Valley Lodge #652, and was Master of his lodge in 1980. He and his wife loved to travel and spend time with their family and friends. Services will be at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills, in California, on July 8, at 2 p.m. Contributions can be made in Norman’s name to the Arizona Kidney Foundation.
