Scott Delray Jumper passed away June 29, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 56. He was born March 5, 1957, in Sunnyside, Utah, to James W. Jumper and Janey (Whaley).
Scott was a precious husband, father and son and a Christian. He worked at Crazy Horse Campgrounds; he enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing pool and watching the Diamondbacks play baseball. He especially enjoyed his time with his family.
We little knew that morning, that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone; for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide, and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Tracy Jumper; sons, Jason and Skylar Jumper; daughter, Liberty Jumper; mother, Janey Stewart, all of Lake Havasu City; brothers, Steve Jumper, of Durango, Colo., and Gary Jumper, of Cushing, Okla.; sisters, Connie Johnson, of Billings, Mont., Sandra Morland and Tina Murch, both of Cushing, Okla.; and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at Christ Alive Worship Center, with Michael Buxton offering words of comfort.

Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
