Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Tuesday, July 2, 2013 - William (Bill) Leonard Reed, age 53, passed away June 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Saginaw, Mich. He was born in Detroit, March 18, 1960, to William and Mary Reed. In 1976, Bill moved to Lake Havasu City, where he attended Lake Havasu High School. After graduating from Lake Havasu High School in 1978, Bill joined the U.S. Army and served his country for four years. On June 13, 1992, in Durango, Colo., Bill married the love of his life, Monica. He was a resident of Oscoda, Mich., for more than 13 years and before that, he lived in Hawaii for five years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, going to the gun range, and most importantly, spending time with his family. He was also a member of the NRA and a supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project. Bill is survived by his wife, Monica Reed; his parents, William and Mary Reed of Lake Havasu City; his step-sons, Kaipo Kaleikilo and John Kaleikilo; and his sisters, Janet Wise, Leslie Johnson, Launa Reed and Victoria Reed. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and friends. We love you Bill
