Yuma Sun, Yuma, Arizona - Published in The Yuma Sun on July 4, 2013 - Howard "Howie" Kautzer, 72, was born December 2, 1940 in Medford, Wisconsin. He passed away from complications of heart disease on Monday, July 1, 2013. Howard grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Arizona in the early 1970's. He was a carpenter by trade. He loved spending his weekends camping in the sand dunes and spending time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Audrey Kautzer; son, Tim (Cristal) Kautzer of Yuma; daughters, Becky Thomas of Kinston, NC, Brenda (Talbert) Sattley of Yuma, Tammy (Ralph) McKeel of Dudley, NC, Joey (Seth) Kautzer-Parkin of Glendale, AZ; grandchildren, Steven Kautzer, Brandee (Jose) Valtierra, Garret and Hailee Sattley, and Kinzley Parkin; and sister, Lucille Gloyd of Ripon, WI. Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 11am, Oasis Church, 1545 S. Avenue C, Yuma, AZ 85364. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
