SIFUENTES, Felicitas (Felice)

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Tuesday, July 02, 2013 Felicitas “Felice” O. Sifuentes, 92, departed this life June 25, 2013, at her home in Miami, Ariz., surrounded by family. Felice was born July 11, 1920, in Dawson, N.M., to Angel and Lucia (Validvieso) Ortiz. She married Ignacio “Nacho” Sifuentes on June 13, 1935, in Madrid, N.M. and moved to Miami in September of that same year. She loved to travel, garden, embroider, knit and crochet. She also loved to start each day with her morning coffee. She is survived by three children: Stella (Antonio) Guevara of Alhambra, Calif.; Eva Fresquez of Whittier, Calif.; and Richard (Esther) Sifuentes of Miami. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Natalie Contreras of California. Felice was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years in 1989; a brother, Timoteo; and a sister, Margie Peralta of Superior. Service were held Saturday, June 29, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Miles Funeral Services Miami Chapel, 309 W. Live Oak St., in Miami, Ariz. Interment was at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens. Services were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami, 309 W. Live Oak St, Miami, Ariz.
