Marjorie was born June 7, 1924, in Columbus, Ohio, to Paul Peter and Sybilla (Brehl) Boehm. She married George W. Egger June 22, 1946, raised eight children, and loved six grandchildren. She is survived by two sons and five daughters, Lynne (Bruce) Terry, Dr. Marlene J. (Larry Stewart) Egger, George L. (Nancy) Egger, Leigh A. Egger, Adriene J. Egger, Paul R. Egger, and Ardyce M. (Patrick) Clements; one sister, Teresa Rose Coyle; six grandchildren, Adam Terry, Melissa and Sarah Egger, and Katelin, Jackson and Garret Clements; and a very special extended family, including many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her youngest daughter, Andrea A. Egger; and her brothers, Paul and Don Boehm. Marjorie was a lifetime member of the Catholic Church where she served as religious education instructor, choir member, and as Eucharistic minister. Raising eight children, Marjorie did not have a lot of free time, but she made every birthday special by making a decorative birthday cakes and loved to crochet. A prayer service will begin at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, with visitation following from 2 to 5 p.m., at Sunset Funeral Home, 3940 N Vermilion St., Danville, Ill. A Mass of Christian Burial for Marjorie Egger will be at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 1303 N Walnut St, Danville, Ill. She will be laid to rest with her husband, George, in Danville National Cemetery on Monday, immediately following Mass.
