Jeanne was born in Tulsa, Okla., March 10, 1948. She passed away at her home Tuesday, after a courageous one-year journey of strokes and heart attacks. She moved to Lake Havasu City in 1997 with her husband, Michael Mansfield, from Denver, Colo. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Jeanne’s kind heart and sense of humor captured everyone’s heart.
Jeanne enjoyed spending time with her friends. She was an incredible shuffleboard player and didn’t like to lose. She enjoyed traveling, boating and crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Dorothy Craig; her grandson, Kindahl Cottrell; and her husband, Michael Mansfield. She is survived by her three daughters, Angela Mansfield, Holly Cottrell (Steve) and Jennifer DeMara (Troy); six grandchildren, Cody Mansfield, Griffin Cottrell, Briceson Cottrell, Meagan DeMara, Rayce Leivas and Tate Demara; and her siblings, Pamela Sally and Edmond Craig Jr. Later in life she fell in love with her soul mate, Sam Cooper, and was like a mother to his daughter, Jeana Diehlman. Jeanne will be greatly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be at Hilltop Community Church Saturday at 3 p.m., with Chaplain Jimmy Ortega offering words of comfort and a reception will follow at Desert Martini.
Thoughts and condolences can be sent to Jeanne’s family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com. Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
