JUANITA IRENE MCEWEN Juanita Irene McEwen died August 11, 1996 at Pueblo Norte Nursing Center in Show Low. She was 82. She was born August 12, 1914, Codell, KS. where she attended grade school. She attended nursing school at St. John's Hospital in Salina, KS. She married Hubert Arthur McEwen March 5, 1937, and they moved to Arizona in 1941, residing in Whiteriver for 19 years where she was postmistress for several years. She and her husband moved to Lakeside in 1960 where she lived until the time of her death. She is survived by her husband Hubert of Lakeside, one son Gerry McEwen of Young; two daughters Kathy DeLaRosa of Phoenix and Barbara Jo Smith of Phoenix, two brothers Elwin and Delwin Frazier and seven grandchildren. Memorial services were held August 15th at the Community Presbyterian Church in Pinetop. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled arrangements.
