ACEDO,
Hector
Hector T. Acedo set sail March 31, 2008 on his final journey beyond the
limits of time and space as we know them. There, at heavens gate, he was
reunited with Celsa and Frances.
Hector was born in Douglas, Arizona July 11, 1923. He served in the U.S.
Navy during WWII. He was a founding member of The American Legion Post
41. Hector's favorite past times were sharing stories of WWII, golf and
sharing times with his family.
He has parted from his loving wife, Sally Childs Acedo, the autumn love
of his life. Hector's tide has deposited beautiful memories with his
sister Sally Daley; children Mary Ann (Faulstich), Martha (Paglier),
John Sr., Susan (Hensley), Jim, Matthew and Adam Abel, Stephanie
Holaday, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and Peaches!
A visitation of Hector's Vessel and celebration of Hector's spirit will
be at Harper Funeral Home, 1242 E. Jefferson St, April 3, 2008 10 AM.
Burial will follow at National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek
