The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, July 14, 2013 Lorraine D. Lajoie Lorraine died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at the Hospice Family Care Center in Prescott, Ariz. She was born Nov. 15, 1928, in Worcester, Mass. She was 84 years old and spent the last eight years at the Arizona Pioneer Home. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Albani Lajoie. Al and Lorraine relocated to Arizona in 1973. Both loved the Prescott area, were members of St. Germaine Catholic Church and involved in the Lion's Club for many years. She is survived by her five daughters, Cel March, Paulette Martone, Denise Thayer, Annette Wright and Lisa Sommers, along with one brother, Walt Gauthier; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Survivors also include numerous cousins. A private celebration of life will be held by the family. The Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
