Kingman Daily Miner, Kingman, AZ - Published on July 14, 2013 - Jeffrey William Shepherd, 56, passed away Friday, July 5, 2013, in Kingman. He was born July 10, 1956, to Harry Guy and Mary Louise Shepherd in Los Angeles. Jeffrey had lived in Kingman for 30 years, moving here in 1983 from Albuquerque, N.M. In 1974, Jeffrey graduated from Westchester (California) High School. He completed his B.A. at the University of Southern California in 1978 where he was a member of the Trojan Marching Band. He received his degree in Pharmacy from the University of New Mexico in 1983. Jeffrey was a pharmacist with Smith's Food and Drug for 27 years in Kingman and Bullhead City. Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father and his in-laws, Henry and Stanley Friel. He is survived by his wife, Laurel; his sons, Hendrik (Michele) of Las Vegas, Ian and Aerol, both of Flagstaff; two granddaughters, Keira Ann and Kelsie Marie Shepherd. He is also survived by his mother, Mary Louise Shepherd, and his brothers, Dr. James Shepherd of Independence, Ky., Robert Shepherd of Westchester, Calif., and Jonathon Shepherd of Camarillo, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Visitation services followed by a rosary will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., Kingman. Interment will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, at Palm Mortuary and Cemetery, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, Nev.
