Richard “Chance” Nelson was born in Shiloh Valley, Ill., on March 15, 1942. He died Jan. 27 in Wickenburg, Ariz.

Chance was a cowboy all of his adult life. He is survived by many good friends.

Burial will be Monday (Feb. 9) at 1 p.m. at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Ariz.

Arrangements are by David’s Desert Chapel Funeral Home of Wickenburg.
