Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Connie S Leto (April 21, 1947 - July 7, 2013) Connie S. Leto, 66, died on July 7th, 2013. Connie is survived by her son David, his wife Jacque and their three children Alexandria, Carryn and Ryan; daughter Dawn, her husband Kevin and their son Joseph; sister Donna and brothers David, Wally and his wife Billy. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sano and her wonderful mother Shana. Connie graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1995 and dedicated her career to substance abuse education and providing children and adolescents with support and guidance. She was an avid sports fan and a huge supporter of Arizona State University football for more than 40 years. Connie was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Connie's strength, dedication, independence and honesty served as an inspiration to all that knew and loved her. There will be a memorial service on August 1, 2013, at 7:00 p.m. at the Pinewood Country Club in Munds Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Phoenix Zoo in Connie's memory, as she would have wanted.
