The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ February 17, 2009, p. A6 Jerry Dennis Jr. of Magna, Utah, died Tuesday, Jan. 6 at the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City. He was 43. He was born Feb. 26 in Riverton Wyoming, a son of Jerry Dennis Sr. and Barbara Dennis of Circle City, Ariz. Jerry moved to Wickenburg in 1976 where he finished his school years. He played football and was on the wrestling team. He graduated in 1983 and joined the Army. He served his first two years in Germany. Jerry served a total of six years. He served his country in Kuwait during Desert Storm. After, he worked for Lockheed Aircraft as a mechanic on the Apache helicopters. In July of 1983 he married Janiel Kartchner in Waco, Texas. Survivors include his wife Janiel Dennis of Magna, parents Jerry and Barbara Dennis of Circle City, Ariz.; brothers Russell and Rick Dennis; two children; four grandchildren; and his grandmother Kathleen Dennis. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 14. Interment was an Lindquist Heights Memorial Park in Ogden, Utah.
