Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona LeRain Lee Frost October 25, 1945 ~ July 23, 2013 LeRain Lee Frost passed away after complications due to a brain tumor on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 in Mesa, Arizona. She was surrounded by family and friends. LeRain was born October 25, 1945 in Snowflake, Arizona to Arthur Lee and Leah (McNeil) Lee. She was the eighth of nine children and was raised in the Lakeside area while attending school primarily in Snowflake. As a 1963 graduate of Snowflake Union High School LeRain performed as a Loboette, earned the coveted Crisco Award, and enjoyed dancing. She was a talented artist, seamstress, quilter, gardener, and educator (just to name a few.) She also worked as an instructional aid for Holbrook Unified School District for 35 years and served in her community as well as her church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is survived by her husband, Robert Ray Frost, three children, Mashell (Muff) Frost, Robert Boyd Frost, Shawna (Frost) Knudsen, and eight grandchildren, Bryce Boyd Frost (22), Dallin Dean Frost (18), Krysta Mashell VanDeventer (15), Tara Lee Frost (12), Maleah Michelle Frost (7), Christian Dane Knudsen (6), Harper Rae Knudsen (3), and Jorgen Donald Knudsen (1). A viewing prior to the service will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services will begin at 10:00 a.m. after which an interment will be held at the Woodruff Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Missionary Fund for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Funeral arrangements were made through Silver Creek Mortuary of Taylor, Arizona.
