Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Patricia Alvita Lupe September 2, 1971 ~ July 21, 2013 Patricia Alvita Lupe, 41, of Whiteriver, Arizona, entered into eternal rest unexpectedly, Sunday, July 21st, 2013 in Whiteriver, AZ. Patricia, better known as ‘Patri’ was born September 2nd, 1971 in Whiteriver, AZ, to Iretta (Wallen) Taylay and Avery Taylay of Cibecue. She attended school in Tuscon, AZ as well as Seven Mile Elementary & Alchesay High School. Patri married the love of her life of 25 years, Everett Lupe and they lived together in Whiteriver, AZ. ‘Patri’ was currently employed with the B.I.A. Forestry as a ‘Camp Crew’ Member. She really enjoyed her job and being outdoors. She enjoyed sharing her pictures and stories of being out at fires at many places around the U.S. She worked at several places such as Sunrise and Hondah Casino before settling with the B.I.A. Forestry. She would often babysit for friends and family as well. ‘Patri’ was a kind, loving, & helpful person who loved to laugh and make jokes. She was always so welcoming especially when she cooked a meal. Without hesitation she invited you into her home, ready to feed you. She enjoyed cooking and watching the “Cooking Channel”. She was very good at it. She was also good at taking pictures. She always had a camera at every family event and every trip she took, prepared to snap shots of anything and everybody. ‘Patri’ enjoyed being a grandmother. She really loved being around all her grandchildren. She was always willing to babysit. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her. ‘Patri’ is survived by her husband, 4 daughters: Kaneshea (Bryan) Lupe, Evette (Michael) Lupe, Jodi and Miranda Lupe, all of Whiteriver, AZ.; three grandsons, Jake & Ryan Bourke and Valak Endfield; parents; siblings: Althea Curry, Dorthea Ivins, Nancy Taylay, Sandy Hinton, Rulah Walker, Tavis Lupe and Brian Taylay. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family whom all loved her dearly. A wake will begin on Saturday, July 27, 2013 @ 10 a.m. at her residence in Chinatown-299 W. Pinto Drive. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Whiteriver Assembly of God, with Pastor Robert Jimenez officiating. Interment will follow at the Dove Street Cemetery in East Fork, AZ. Her Forestry co-workers are encouraged to escort her home starting at the corner of Appaloosa and Saddle St. on Saturday, July 27, 2013. Tribal leaders, church singers and speakers are welcomed.
