Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, July 28, 2013 - Frank Charles Subjeck passed away July 19, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 83. He was born June 15, 1930, in Detroit, Mich., to Frank Joseph Subjeck and Margaret Mary (Reaume). Frank served in the U.S. Navy in 1947 and the U.S. Army from 1951 until being honorably discharged in 1953. He has made Arizona his residence for the last 20 years. Frank spent three years volunteering at the Lake Havasu City Police Department. He enjoyed archaeology, history and fought to save Ward Valley, Calif., from becoming a nuclear disposal site. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Charmaine J. Subjeck, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Keith Charles Subjeck, of Walled Lake, Mich., and Danny James Subjeck, of Fenton, Mich.; daughter, Denise Marie Subjeck of Lake Havasu City; brothers, William Subjeck, of Washington, Mich., and Ronald Subjeck, of Lake Havasu City; four grandchildren and one and a half great-grandchildren.
