Pfeiffer << >> Feb. 22, 1940 — Jul. 18, 2013 << Constance (Connie) was born in Chicago, Ill., at St. Luke’s Hospital by Soldiers Field. She married Donald Pfeiffer in 1958 and moved to California the same year, living in the San Gabriel area before finally set down roots in Pasadena, Calif., working in sales, manufacturing and construction. She and her husband fell in love with Lake Havasu City, bought a place and when she retired in 2005, moved in full time. She loved playing cards, bunco, being part of Tops AZ 503 and keeping busy. She will miss all her friends she had made over the years in Lake Havasu City. Connie is survived by her son, Don (Jeanette) Pfeiffer; daughter, Denise (José) Rodriguez; seven grandchildren, Cody, Amanda, Aaron and Richard Pfeiffer, Kaya, Rozene and Aiyana Rodriguez; her brother, Richard (Pat) Moores; sister, Janis (Greg) Johnson; sister-in-law, Edith (Jack) Gapinski; cousin, Jim Overwater Jr.; many nieces and nephews; and her cats. Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her companion, Bob Frank; mother, Sigrid Nixon and stepfather, Harold (Nick) Nixon. She will be interned with her husband at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Service is July 31 at 10 a.m. at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, 1698 Deer Run Drive, Lake Havasu City.
