Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, Prescott, Arizona William "Bill" L. Comstock December 4, 1934 ~ July 24, 2013 William L. Comstock, 78, went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2013 in Prescott, Arizona. He was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on December 4, 1934 to Leroy and Hazel Comstock. Bill grew up in Sioux City, Iowa. He attended Seminary in Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas. He later worked as an industrial engineer for 28 years. Bill enjoyed living in the Prescott area for the past 19 years with his dear wife Colleen. Bill loved the Lord and devoted his time to minister monthly to the Pioneers' Home, Las Fuentes in Prescott, and New Horizons in Chino and Prescott Valley. He loved music and family. When he was 3 years old, he began playing the accordion until he switched to guitar at age 9. Bill is survived by his spouse Colleen Comstock; his three children Tammy Bell, Lynette Fredella, and William D. Comstock; his three stepchildren Cynthia Ward, Ty Myers and Lorrie Maddux; his brother Don Comstock; his 15 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorials: Agape Mission Projects International, Inc PO Box 151 Camp Verde AZ 86322 is where, in lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Bill's name. This mission has been in operation for over 26 years in Mexico and was dear to Bill’s heart. Service: 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Chino Valley Family Church 718 Arizona Hwy 89 Chino Valley AZ 86323 will be the celebration of Bill’s life. The final interment will be July 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the Chino Valley Cemetery 1250 W Road 2 S Chino Valley AZ 86323.
