The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, July 28, 2013 Dr. David Viger went to be with his Lord July 3, 2013. He was born in Minnesota to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Viger. David was a professor for 28 years at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and director of the McNair Scholar Program at ERAU, Prescott. He loved his students and his work. Preceded in death by his parents Christina and Peter Viger and sister Gloria. David is survived by his loving wife Willemina; son Erik David Viger and wife Kristi; daughter Irma Hoeft and husband Bill; daughter Caroline Viger-U'u and husband Alele; grandchildren Kahley, Drake, Kendra, Greer, Parker and Matthew; brothers and sisters Gary, Diane, Juley, Jamey, Christopher, Christina, Debra and Dori; and many nieces and nephews. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather (opa), brother, uncle, teacher and friend. Dr. David Viger will never be forgotten. We will all miss him dearly and know that he is with his Lord and Savior. Information provided by survivors.
