Howard William Buckley

Howard William Buckley, 74, passed away on July 24, 2013 in Show Low Arizona. He was born on January 18, 1939 in Tucson, Arizona. Howard graduated High Scholl from Pueblo High School in Tucson, Arizona in 1956 and joined the United States Air Force. He was stationed in Newfoundland and Lebanon.
When he returned home he became committeeman of the Democratic National Committee and was among the Delegates sent to elect John F. Kennedy. He always remained interested in politics and was a Navajo County Republican Party Commissioner recently.
Howard was preceded in death by his Parents - Maxzine (Miller) Rodriquez & Irwin Rodriguez (Irwin was later found to be adopted son of the Buckley’s and legally changed his name) and his Grandmother – Ruth Liuine (Indian Princess).
He is survived by; former Spouse –Donna, Step-Daughter- Janine, Step-Son- Rick, Grandchildren – Daniel, Joshua, Carlos, Sara and Becka and Great- Grandchild – Tristan.
Memorial services were held on August 2, 2013 at Black’s Show Low Mortuary. Internment was held on August 5, 2013 at the National Veteran’s Cemetery in Phoenix.
