BOHACH, Benedict Allen (Ben)

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, August 03, 2013 Benedict Allen "Ben" Bohach, 71, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013. He was born on October 24, 1941 in Lancaster, MN. Ben served his country in the Air Force. He worked in the radio communications and electronics industry and then later was self-employed in the same industry. He retired in 2006. He enjoyed amateur radio, electronics and teaching and preparing people to obtain their amateur or "ham" radio licenses. He coordinated and assisted with the Public Safety communications in Oregon, Hawaii, and Arizona and instructed radio classes at community colleges. Ben is survived by his son Terry (Jerusha) Bohach of Chico, CA and his sister Betty Krumlaul of Cottage Grove, OR and 2 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
