Donna Grace Dafoe, 62, of Prescott, Ariz. lost a long battle with cancer on Friday, July 19, 2013. She was born Aug. 6, 1950 in Salisbury, Md. to Thomas and Betty Simonds, who moved to Drayton Plains, Mich. where she grew up.
In 1968, she met and married her husband Dennis and in 1979, they relocated to Phoenix, Ariz. where they worked and raised two children.
Donna retired from the Pendergast School District and they again relocated to Prescott to live.
Donna is survived by her husband Dennis; son Scott; daughter Shana; grandchildren Tyler Gunn, R.C. Hendrix, Destanee Dafoe, and Bailey Dafoe; sister Lorna Salzano; brothers Tom, Jon, and Donald Simonds; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013 at Elks Lodge - Prescott Valley, 6245 E. 2nd Street, Prescott Valley, Ariz.
Funeral services were entrusted to Wakelin Family Funeral Homes.
