(Bishop) Moyer 94, of Phoenix, Arizona; formerly of Sellersville, PA went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 27, 2013 in Phoenix, AZ. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond C. Moyer for 45 years. Mary was born in Hatfield, Pennsylvania to the late Wilson & Anna (Seher) Bishop. She graduated from Hatfield Consolidated High School, class of 1936. Mary was a charter member of Grace Bible Church, Souderton, PA. She was also a member of Valley View Bible Church, Telford, PA, and she relocated to Flagstaff, AZ in 1988 where she became a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Mary loved and taught children in Sunday School, and could keep them spellbound with her storytelling. She was a prolific letter-writer, ministering to friends until the last few years of her life. Mary enjoyed selling at home parties, and worked as a nursing assistant for over 10 years. She is survived by two sons, James Moyer and wife, Bobbi of Springfield, MO and Rob Moyer of Flagstaff, AZ; two daughters, Colleen Moyer of Phoenix, AZ, and Joyce L. Moyer of Fairless Hills, PA; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Viola Moyer, of Harleysville, PA. Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Wilson and two brothers, Paul and Robert Bishop. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013, 1:00 pm at the Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964. Friends may meet with the family at the Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA immediately following the service.
