Elmer “Bud” Dial Jr. went to be with the Lord Aug. 2, 2013 in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 79. He was born Sept. 9, 1933, in Woodriver, Ill., to Elmer Nova Dial and Helen Elizabeth (Duncan).
Bud worked as a Foreman at Nabisco Food Warehouse for over 25 years. He served his country in the Navy from 1956 until being Honorably Discharged in 1961. Bud has made Arizona his residence for the last 22 years. He loved to golf and fish. He was loved by all and will be dearly missed by many.
Bud is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Shirley Dial of Lake Havasu City; son, Daniel Dial of St. George, Utah; sister, Bonnie Ringering of Portage, Ind.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be at Lakeview Community Church, Friday, Aug. 9, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Dale Ray offering words of comfort.
A Graveside Service will be at Olivewood Memorial Park, Monday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m., with Military Honors rendered in California.
In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of Havasu in Bud’s name to 365 S. Lake Havasu Ave. or P.O. Box 597 Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86405.
