Michael Alvin Cook died July 23, 2013, in Phoenix. He was born July 11, 1954, in Monterey, Calif.
Michael graduated from Tombstone High School in 1973. He served in the Army from 1973-76. He was employed in the mining, sheetmetal and logging industries. He raised his family in Tombstone and Whiteriver.
He is survived by his parents, Hank and Donna Cook; daughters: Misty Cook-Goseyun (Kyle), Candace Cook-Malone (Mark), Krista Cook-Millican (Chris), Sallie Cook; seven grandchildren: Malik, Ukayda, Rashawn, Nathan, Kai’leahya, Kai and Hailey. He is also survived by his sisters, Sharon Horn (Randy), Patricia Patterson (Bill), Caren Bidegain (Todd) and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial will be conducted at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Michael’s name to the Sierra Vista Chapter of the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
