The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, August 11, 2013 Rick R. Owens, 55, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away Aug. 2, 2013, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Rick was born May 28, 1958, to Myrna. He was a beloved husband to his wife Dixie who was at his side at the time of death. He was a loving father to Jason, Jamie, Josh and Rikki, and a brother to Marrianne, Karen, Lisa, Lela and Chuckie. He has 11 beautiful grandchildren. Rick worked for the State of Arizona for 26 years, 23 years at the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf, and the remaining years at Arizona Pioneers Home, where he met a lot of good friends. Donations may be made to the Garth B. Last Charitable Foundation, Home Care and Hospice, 3107 Clearwater Drive, Prescott, AZ 86305. A celebration of life will be at a later date.
