Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, August 11, 2013 - Leslie Lee Anderson (Andy) passed away Aug. 5, 2013 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Aug. 16, 1934, in Monticello, Minn., oldest of 5 children to Lloyd and Agnes (Braun) Anderson of Carpinteria, Calif. He served in the Navy for 12 years and was on the Tang Submarine and also the Hancock Air Craft Carrier during the Korean War. He retired from Shell Oil Company in 1990 as a production foreman. He worked for them since leaving the Navy for the rest of his career. He was a loving and supportive father of two daughters, Stephanie Argentine of San Bernardino, Calif., and Stacy Moore of Carpinteria, Calif. He lost a daughter Victoria Streit in 2007. He has been married to Kathleen S. Anderson for 33 years and has three step-children, Elizabeth Ann Dinkel of Brethren, Mich., James Vern Ball of Wellston, Mich., and Todd Vincent Ball of Lake Havasu City. He has always been a great step-father to them. He lost his brother Loren Anderson and sister Sharon Lawrence. He has two living sisters, Marlene Cathcart of Goleto, Calif., and Diana Maxwell of Canano Island, Wash. He has ten grandchildren and three great-grand children.
