Memorial Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.17 at the Community Church of Sunsites. Interment of her cremains will be in the Pearce Cemetery. Jennings August 12, 1916 - August 4, 2013 Bonnie J. Jennings,96, of Pearce, Arizona died August 4, 2013 in Willcox. She was born August 12, 1916 in Pearce to Virgil Matney and Myra Gallagher Matney. Bonnie was a very active member of the Community Church of Sunsites and was a long time choir member of the church. She was dedicated to the Lord and was a long standing Christian. Bonnie was the Past Chaplain and Treasurer for the VFW #9977 Ladies Auxiliary. During her early years she was a Rosie the Riveter for Mitchell Cameras. Survivors include her sons Travis (Deanna) Burnett and Donald “Sarge” (Darlene) Burnett both of Pearce. Bonnie is also survived by her grandchildren Stephen Burnett, Brenda Nimke, Catherine Teel, Torri Katz and Donald K. Burnett along with 9 great grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband Ted Jennings, 1 sister and 2 brothers. A Memorial service will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Community Church of Sunsites with luncheon to follow. Interment of her cremains will be in the Pearce Cemetery after the luncheon. Contributions may be made in her name to the Community Church of Sunsites.
