The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Friday, August 16, 2013 Jacob A, Blaauw January 2, 1960 - July 22, 2013 Jacob A. Blaauw, born Jan. 2, 1960, died July 22, 2013. The Rim Country lost an incredible one-of-a-kind, caring man when he lost his fight with cancer. Most knew him as “Hillbilly,” Jake “the Snake,” or just friend. A longtime resident of Pine, he is survived by two wonderful sons, Jason and Jesse; his big sister, Patsey Fiero; and his fiancée, Andi Shirley. As was his way, he wanted a party, A Blow Out, so put on a smile, clown nose and hillbilly teeth and come celebrate his life at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 17 at his home in Pine.
