Ruth Justason, 88, of Lake Havasu City, passed away August 14, 2013 at her home peacefully.
The funeral services will be Saturday Aug. 24 at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home at 21 Riviera Blvd., in Lake Havasu City. Family has opened visitation to friends from 9-10 a.m. with services following. Graveside services and burial will be held in Kensett, Ark., Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 1:00 p.m.
Ruth was born in Kensett, Ark., Nov. 25, 1924. She was the youngest of nine children of Harvey and Nancy Williams. Ruth's younger life was spent in Arizona and California where she was married and raised two children. She was married a second time to Ralph Justason. Together they enjoyed living in California, Washington and Arizona. They were happily married more than 46 years. The last nine years were spent in Lake Havasu City where Ruth enjoyed visits from family, and being active in the antique car club with Ralph. She is survived by her daughter, Julia Clark of Yuma, her son Eugene Mosley of Yuma, her grand-daughter Kelli Compton and great grandson Owen Compton of Las Vegas.
Although Ruth loved gardening and flowers, the family has asked in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Beacon of Hope Hospice, 500 N. Lake Havasu Ave., in Ruth's name. The family of Ruth Justason would like to thank the staff at Hospice for their loving care.
