From Monday's Daily
The funeral of the late Charles Bain, of Jersey Lily, took place on
Saturday afternoon. J. E. Clark, foreman of the mine, Sam Beck of the
Little Wonder camp, and other miners from that section, came in to
attend the last sad rites of their friend.
W. H. Ferguson, one of their locators and one of the former owners of
the Jersey Lily, pronounced a eulogy on the life of the deceased which
was very eloquent and pathetic.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Bain is buried in an unmarked gravesite in the
Citizens Cemetery, Prescott, Arizona.
