Arizona Republican, Phoenix, Arizona Territory Wednesday, May 5, 1897 Charles Bain - The funeral of the late Charles Bain took place in Prescott on Saturday afternoon, under the auspices of the mines of that vicinity. There was a good turnout. Foreman J.C. Clark and the miners of the Jersey Lily came in to attend the funeral. The burial was held in the Citizens Cemetery. W.H. J. E. Clark, foreman of the mine, Sam Beck of the Little Wonder camp, and other miners from that section, came in to attend the last sad rites of their friend. W. H. Ferguson, one of their locators and one of the former owners of the Jersey Lily, pronounced a eulogy on the life of the deceased which was very eloquent and pathetic.
