The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, August 25, 2013 Jack Peters, 91, of Prescott, Ariz., died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013. Jack was born in Grandview, Pa., on Aug. 11, 1922. He served in the U.S. Navy Air Corps during WWII. He worked for CBS in Hollywood, Calif., as an audio engineer for 28 years before retiring to Prescott in 1979. He will be remembered by his passion for inventing, writing and his love of Sinatra, as well as the stories he shared of his time in the Navy and at CBS. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joyce McLain Peters, a Prescott native; one daughter, Deborah Weisinger (Marc) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three grandsons, RC Abeyta of Los Angeles, Calif., and James and Dan Weisinger of Phoenix, Ariz. Services will be private. Information provided by survivors.
