Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Sunday, August 25, 2013 >> James Otto Gruber << >> Feb. 27, 1955 — Aug. 16, 2013 << James (Jim) was born in Van Nuys, Calif., and passed away at Havasu Regional Medical Center from complication of pneumonia. Jim was born to Otto and Jean Gruber of Canoga Park, Calif. He married his high school sweetheart, Cynthia Ann Manning, Oct. 26, 1975. Jim and Cindy have two children, daughter, Michelle Lyn Gruber and son, Timothy James Gruber both of Lake Havasu City. He is also survived by two beautiful grandchildren, Topanga Willow Barrett and Teagan Cynthia Gruber-Klink; and one beautiful step-granddaughter, Alison Klink; his parents, Jean and Otto Gruber; sister, Donna Gruber; brother, Bob Gruber; one nephew, Tommy Gruber; and three nieces, Gina, Stephanie Gruber and Melissa A. Perry. Jim worked at Galpin Ford in Sepulveda, Calif., for many years until he and Cindy were in a head-on motorcycle accident in November 1990.
